Low Potassium Food for Kidney Disease Patients

Kidney patients should keep a low potassium diet, because high potassium can result in cardiogenic shock or cardiac arrest. And hyperkalemia is the most common seen complication in kidney failure stage. Here we list some food with low potassium for patients to choose.

First, vegetables.

Second, fruits.

These fruits also contain low potassium.

Third, tofu.

Tofu is made of beans. Even beans contain high purine, but the tofu and its products contain less. Tofu also belongs to low potassium product. Soya-bean milk, torfu, silk tofu and watery tender bean curd is also available for you.
